What the paper keeps, and what it does not.
The Riddle-Box Gazette is a free puzzle game that runs entirely in your web browser. There is no sign-in, no account, no server, and no database behind it.
Your puzzle progress, your Solver’s Ledger statistics, and your settings are stored only in your browser’s local storage, on this device. This information never leaves your machine and is never sent to us or anyone else.
Because nothing is stored on a server, clearing your browser data — or using “Clear Archive Record” in Settings — permanently erases that progress, and it cannot be recovered.
We do not use analytics, advertising, third-party trackers, or tracking cookies. We do not collect personal information.
Share text is copied to your clipboard only when you choose to press a “Copy Share Text” button. Nothing is transmitted anywhere.
If this notice ever changes, the updated version will appear on this page.
Kept honestly, in plain ink, at the editor’s desk.
